About Dr. Chris Roundtree
Dr. Roundtree earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati and is licensed to practice in Virginia. During the day, he works with Veterans at the Central Virginia VA Health Care System.
In the evenings, he provides individual telehealth therapy
for adults.
Dr. Roundtree believes that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. He creates a welcoming, supportive space where clients can feel heard,
understood, and empowered to work toward their goals. He helps adults navigate depression, anxiety, life transitions, and everyday stress using evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He also has experience treating addiction and substance use concerns, particularly when they occur alongside anxiety or depression. His goal is to help clients build practical coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and create
lasting, meaningful change.
